Frequently Asked Questions for the 50th Anniversary Gala & Fundraiser

Where exactly is the gala?

This year's gala will be held at the gorgeous Palo Alto Hills Golf and Country Club at 3000 Alexis Drive in Palo Alto, California.

Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our 50th gala is semi-formal, with black tie optional. We want all guests to feel comfortable and enjoy the celebration, so while elegant attire is encouraged, please refrain from wearing shorts, sneakers, or jeans. 

Will there be gluten-free food items? Vegan? Vegetarian?

Yes! We are committed to accommodating dietary preferences. There will be a variety of options available to ensure that everyone can enjoy a delightful meal. However, for our planning purposes, it would be extremely helpful if you would please send an email to gala@php.com to let us know if you have any specific dietary restrictions that we should know. 

How long is the event?

The gala itself starts at 5:30p.m. with a lively cocktail hour. During the evening there will be a program that will last approximately 90 minutes. The evening will conclude at 10:30 pm with dancing. There will be a dinner, live auction and dancing to celebrate our 50th anniversary.


Where does the money go that is raised at this event?

100% of proceeds go directly to Parents Helping Parents programs and initiatives. This funding ensures PHP resources, workshops, and services designed to assist families remain FREE, thereby making a meaningful difference to all parents, caregivers, families, and professionals in our community. 

Is there going to be an auction?

There will be a live auction at the gala.  

How can I get my auction items?

The week after the auction, winners will be notified and arrangements can be made to pick up the auction items at the Parents Helping Parents office in San Jose.

Is there a specific theme for the gala?

Fun! We want you to have a great time at the gala with friends and family.

Will there be parking available?

Yes! The Palo Alto Hills Golf and Country Club has its own parking lot. Parking is free. Valet parking available.
